Our Story

The first time we saw a Bonsai tree we remember feeling a sudden surge of peace and majesty. It was the kind of feeling you get when you’ve just climbed a mountain and you turn around to discover a breathtaking view stretched out for miles. We were astounded at its beauty. 

We quickly learned that Bonsai is a patient art, it requires small adjustments over long periods of time to achieve the unique shapes and traits seen on Bonsai trees. 

Hidden within this hobby is an abundance of important life lessons. Like how beautiful things often take time to grow, and that mistakes, when learned from gracefully, can be transformed into admirable attributes. Bonsai teaches us that we should cherish the things that make us unique because those are also the things that make us beautiful. 

Above all, Bonsai has provided us a way to take a step back from the chaos of life and re-center our perspective on what is most important to us.
